From Farms by Amber
to Acres of Joy
This is not a departure from our roots. It is the growth of them.
Farms by Amber began in 2020 as an agricultural business grounded in production, food, and community. As the farm grew, something important became clear.
The greatest opportunity was not simply in what we could produce. It was in what we could help other producers build.
Through firsthand experience, we saw talented farmers with tremendous agricultural knowledge who were still encountering barriers in business development, market access, financial systems, certification, procurement, and growth.
That realization changed the direction of the company. Our background in education, learning and development, project management, entrepreneurship, and agriculture began coming together. The farm became more than a place of production. It became a living classroom.
Farms by Amber evolved from growing agricultural products into designing learning experiences that help producers grow stronger businesses.
That evolution is Acres of Joy — bringing together our agricultural background, educational methodology, and scaling capabilities.
Work With Us →Farming is the Foundation.
Learning is the Ladder.
Farming gave us the experience. Education gave us the methodology. Learning and development gave us the ability to scale. Acres of Joy brings those pieces together.
Amber’s background spans agriculture, education, learning and development, project management, and entrepreneurship.
Her professional career began in mathematics and science education and expanded into teacher development, learning design, project management, entrepreneurship, and agricultural business development.
That interdisciplinary experience shapes the Acres of Joy approach. She understands both sides of the work: how adults learn, and what agricultural entrepreneurs must do with that learning once they return to their businesses.
Our coaches and agricultural professionals are producers themselves, bringing real operational experience combined with expert guidance.
Our team is presented as practitioners. The coaches and agricultural professionals working with Acres of Joy are producers themselves, communicating both agricultural experience and professional expertise.
